I have been instrumental in bringing renewable power to Montana, representing small wind, hydroelectric and solar developers with regulatory issues before the Montana Public Service Commission.
The work my clients and I have accomplished has led to the creation of many well-paid jobs throughout the state and offers a promising field for economic growth going forward.
I grew up in Montana. I firmly believe in the deep value of the land we live in. Not just in dollar amounts, but also in terms of human experiences of hunting, hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, and every other activity that takes Montanans into the wild. Our land is beautiful, and I want it to stay that way. I want to protect our land by embracing a sustainable energy future for Montana that will allow our children, our grandchildren, and those who follow to enjoy unspoiled nature the way we can without sacrificing our economic development.
Renewable energy is a growth industry, and I believe that Montana should grow with it. I have a history of victory in that fight, and I will continue that fight in the Senate.
